For those that have been running dark mode on OLED devices, have you noticed an increase in battery life?

Interested in initial feedback.

Too early to tell tbh as Beta 1 saw poor battery life across the board as has been the case with previous first betas of major releases

I got 39.2 hrs on my XS Max with light usage these past 2 days (last full charge was 1817 Sat 16th, to 1% at 0925 today no charging in between) running dark mode but on days with heavier usage I've gotten from around 100% at 8am to around 45% at 2330 which is better than before, going to need more time to tell if it really has an impact

How about your device screen brightness? It should remain the same the entire time.

It’s on Auto brightness but as I was in the same location for most of them hours it was around the 50% mark. Most of the usage was at night or inside as I was on a night shift in a club so was dark

Hmm. Ok. Interesting to see any tangible effect since dark mode battery saving Is more obvious on higher brightness.
After beta 2, I think I am gonna do some test about this dark mode.
