iPhone iOS 13 doesn’t remember music played

I was playing music on my iPhone through the music app blue tooth. I got back into my car and what I was just playing didn’t play. It started played my newly added music instead.

why isn’t it continuing to play what I was listening to and just playing it from blue tooth

It seems to be depending on how long you were disconnected. It did continue for me once yesterday after a short run to a store, but other times it always starts with the very first song in my library...

iOS has been doing that for a long time. Wish they would fix it. For me, sometimes it remembers where you were for hours, other times it forgets it after just a few minutes. Really annoying.

Ah okay. I feel it use to do it for longer than it does now. I mean I went shopping for a bit and then started from the first new song in my library. Not a big deal but still
