iPhone iOS 13 for iPhone Xs - any issues?

13.1 drops today—supposed to be much more stable than 13.0.

I'm running the 13.1 beta without issues. It's always safest to wait for the official 13.1 update anyway if you're worried about issues.

Apple very often makes older devices less snappy through new iOS. So I just want to make sure it will not happen with my “old” Xs

13.0 runs just fine on xs. 13.1 drops today so just wait a few hours.

The faceID recognition is faster so I jumped on 13 and didn’t wait.

Battery life is key. I never activated or used face id

Battery drain stopped after 2 days. Apps open way faster than before. I always thought FaceID was really fast on 12.4.1, it seems to be even faster now (most of the time the locked icon seems to be there for only a fraction of a second now). Still full 3D Touch support. No dealbreakers for me, not even email (including one exchange account)...

optimized algorithms, that’s why FaceID is faster. Which tells you that initial code was poorly written.
