I am wondering how iOS 13 is running on everyone’s original 12.9 iPad Pros. Please let me know if there are any performance issues or improvements.

Thank you everyone in advance!

I have a first generation 9.7 inch iPad Pro that I have iOS 13/ iPadOS on and love it. My boyfriend has the same iPad with iOS 13/ iPadOS on his as well and loves it. Our iPad pro’s are our laptop replacements. We have not touched our laptops in 2 weeks.

I know it isn’t the 12.9 but pretty much the same specs. The 12.9 has 4gb of ram where the 9.7 has 2 but the 9.7 has much better cameras.

The only persistent issue on my wife’s 12.9 original iPad Pro is that the screen frequently rotates 180 degrees while she’s looking at it. She, as I do as well, always has it in landscape view. I don’t know if it would be as frequent in portrait but it is annoying. She’s currently on 13.3. I had the same issue initially on my 3rd gen 12.9 but not since the early 13 updates.

I have the original 12.9, latest software and it pops. Working great with mouse, keyboard, pencil. No issues. I don’t see a reason to upgrade to a new model yet...

I have decided to give iOS 13 a try. Thanks so much everyone for sharing your experiences, I really appreciate it!!
