Always been using my iPhone to theather to my mac when I get bad WiFi without problem for years. Updated to iOS 13 and can only get my phone to teather with Mac over USB cable which works fine. Using WiFi (my prefered method) the phone conects for a few seconds then disconnects.

Phone askes me to share my hotspot settings as both are on the same iCloud acound but refuses to work on WiFi?

Any ideas if this is a bug or am I doing something wrong and there are new security settings hidden in iOS13?

No problem here at all. iOS and 13 and Mojave. It's works just fine without losing connection

Deffinatly a bug as my iMac refuses to stay connected however, my MacBook Pro works perfectly?

I'm having the same issues with my Macbook Pro and iPhone on IOS 13.1.3. Are you still having these troubles?

Sorry for the late reply, as of iOS 13.1 hotspot is working fine with all my Mac's.

I very occationally struggle to connect but a quick restart of my iPhone normally solves the issue.

Whatever was changed in iOS 13 has deffinatelty negatively impacted the previously bullet proof iOS hotspot feature but then iOS 13 has not been a great sucsess so far.

EDIT:Typo
