Ever since the iOS 13 upgrade the in-call volume on my iPhone X (unlocked, AT&T, 256GB) has been extremely low. So low that if there is any ambient noise in the room, I cannot hear the person on the other end of the line at all. The issue has persisted through 13.1, 13.1.1 and 13.1.2. Side buttons show that the in-call volume is max'ed out and I cannot find any settings that have changed or would affect call volume. Cannot find anyone with a similar issue searching this forum or on reddit. There have been no problems with phone calls on my work issued iPhone 7 (locked, Verizon, 32GB).

Any help anyone can provide would be much appreciated.

Completely wiped the phone and restored from a fresh reset. Didn't help, volume is still extremely low.

Your speaker might be dirty. Have you tried cleaning it?

My speaker is not dirty. The phone volume was perfectly fine before the initial iOS 13 update and unusable immediately after.

Yes, so I guess you tried that.
What about checking Accessibility settings under Hearing and see if something didn't get inadvertently set from an update.

Good call, haven't thought of checking there. Sadly no settings seem changed.

Went to the Apple Store. They plugged it into one of their computers and rebooted it through what I’m assuming is some diagnostic software. Fixed the issue.

I wonder what the issue was? Glad it's fixed for you!

So am I. Usually they tell you. I have access to their systems and can see what diagnostics/notes were run. If OP wants to DM me I can look it up in GSX and see.
