iOS 14.2 Siri playing albums out of order?

Hey All

I’m posting hoping someone has a solution. Yesterday I updated both my iPhone and iPad to OS 14.2. Since then, whenever I ask Siri to “play the album X by Y” it will find the album — but play it out of order. Shuffle is off. It consistently plays the album in the same out of order way (I prefer listening to albums front to back from the first track to the last). Ie “play the album RTJ4 by Run the jewels” will start at track 8, next track will be 3, etc. It is almost as though it is shuffled

This was not an issue previously. I use this in the car all the time.

Anyone know?

Argh. Well glad to hear it isn’t just me...

Hopefully next OS update will fix this

Wow, I noticed this yesterday on my drive home and thought my settings might have changed with the update. I then promptly forgot all about it until this thread.

Happens to me too... was hoping there was a solution but I guess it’s a fairly new bug. How can we report it?

Interestingly... it looks like this issue is now fixed as of 11/12 ... tried tonight and it worked as before.

Very strange! But glad it is fixed ahead of the HomePod mini release
