Hello, I have an iPhone 11 Pro and after the 14.3 iOS update, my capacity is next to nothing (<2GB). Before the update it was around ~13GB. Is this something known with this particular update? In the past, iOS updates have actually freed up space. I did a search and couldn't find anything specific. Should I restore the phone to factory settings and then restore from a backup? This is really annoying.

You will need to restore the phone using iTunes on Windows or Finder if on MacOS Catalina or newer. Restoring your backup from iCloud should be fine as long as your space is not being consumed by actual apps and content but is showing "other" that is an annoying bug that is resolved by the restore. However if your stuff is just taking up a lot of space you need to delete things and or buy a larger phone.

I have a backup saved on my computer, are you saying that won't resolve the issue? I am on macOS Big Sur 11.1.

Just chiming in- what exactly is in the other section and what is reasonable
percentage of storage being used by other? On my iPad it is most of f the storage.

I would do a restore and then download your last iCloud backup, that should eliminate any discrepancy in available storage.
