iOS 14.5.1 battery issues

Hello,

Both my iPads, 5th Generation and 6th Generation are bad with charging. THey are going slowly and will go on and off charging. Why?

I only installed it on just one of my devices and I’m seeing very slow charging times too. Also the books app became very sluggish after the update.

Battery life on my 2018 iPad Pro is absolutely pathetic since going to 14.5/14.5.1, compared to what it was.
I'd really prefer not to factory reset this, but may have to soon. I use barely any apps on this thing. VPN through Apple's settings page, Procreate, Synology DS File, QQ music and Youtube.
So many people complaining about this update. Garbage testing.

I don't really know why this is happening, I barely use my iPad for anything at all.

I have that issue too. The problem is HomeKit!!! When I switched off family members from home they stopped having a problem

I do not think so one of my ipads does not have HomeKit

The battery life on my iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPad Pro 11" 2nd Gen are actually noticeably better on 14.5 and 14.5.1
