I think there is something wrong in iOS 14 UI, it basically leave image retention or ghost effect when using dark mode. I observed it both on my iPhone 11 Pro Max. and iPhone 12 Pro Max. it could cause burn-in in the future

What exactly are you noticing?

Imagine Retention on Status Bar......
As in something related to somehow seeing different time or icons like WiFi strength or alarm when they aren't there?

Any screenshots of this (assuming this is something software/OS related)?

I guess it's very hard to see on the picture but it noticeable in real life.... I assumed that iOS got a feature to move the pixel to avoid burn in but I don't know what happen to the current iOS 14.2.1
