Ever since I installed iOS 14 and upgraded to an iPhone 12 Pro, I have not been able to enable Personal Hotspot as I always used to do. The option switch in Settings | Cellular is just completely gone. My provider is Verizon.

The new 14.2 update finally has a "Set Up Personal Hotspot" link where the Enable switch used to be. This link takes me to the Verizon website, which is useless in this case because Personal Hotspot is enabled by default on Verizon and there is no setting for it on the website. Is there still hope that Personal Hotspot will be back in iOS 14.3?

No problem on my XR with iOS 14.1. Have you checked with Verizon to see if something on your count is preventing the hotspot option?

Did you check the settings for internet/mms/hotspots (under Settings - Mobile Data - Mobile Data Options) where you can manually enter the various data/user names/etc.?

When I switched to my new provider I had to personally enter the APN for the hotspot to show up.

Some providers send you a sms for those settings (and you can request them), some give you the data points online to enter yourself.
