Since upgrading my iPhone 12 mini to iOS 15.0.1 I have noticed the temperature of my device rising until it is actually uncomfortable to hold. It generally happens after 10-15 minutes of continuous use of the Safari app.

Is this an issue many people are noticing or am I in a small minority?

Any websites in particular? There are threads on here about people having the same issue after a while of using this site and another website i use has people with the same issue. Wouldnt be a stretch that other forums have similar issues. The other website i use seems to be due to the ads on there as people with adblockers running dont have the issue.

Thanks for that reply, it definitely has shone some light on my problem. The other website I use regularly is pretty ad heavy and I have noticed the same heating issue whilst using. Didn’t notice it as much until 15.0.1.

I've not had the issues others have mentioned on this forum or the other one i mentioned which was down to ads as i use an adblocker on my phone. May be worth putting one on and seeing if it makes a difference.
