Am I the only one experiencing issues with Dolby Atmos since updating to iOS 15.4?

I have my Dolby settings on "Always On" and prior to updating to iOS 15.4 I was getting Dolby on my Bose system in my car (it sounded amazing).

Now some songs play as Dolby and some don't. (Songs that have played prior to the update).

Apple has disabled Dolby Atmos via CarPlay on non-Atmos supporting car systems in 15.4. The only way around it is to disable CarPlay and use an old school bluetooth connection. The reason behind Apple's choice is that there are too many variables when it comes to car audio setups. Makes quality control very hard.

I'm sure you're right about this. But it took Apple until 15.4 to figure this out? Very unlike them.

Tbh, the whole lossless/spatial rollout was very un-Apple-ish...
Just saw both your responses, which I appreciate.

That sucks because I have a Bose system in my car and the Dolby Atmos sounded sooo good in my car.

I will try to disconnect CarPlay and see if it works via generic wired connection or bluetooth. Thanks for the heads up!
