So AFAIK Matter is going to become a universal ecosystem of home automation, it's backed by all the giants, but it's based on the HomeKit infrastructure...

Does it mean my 20 HomeKit accessories will become Matter accessories overnight ?

The biggest issue I have with HomeKit is that I'm trying to find the reliability slider to turn it all the way up, but I can't find it anywhere. It's clearly set at the lowest setting right now. Does anyone know where it is ?

Just under the “Batteries not included.” warning.

I think reception is worse with this beta.. on my drive there a few spotty areas now I have zero reception when I go through them.. I have reset network settings and have restarted my phone the magical three times.. but besides this everything is running good

Seems to be running smoothly on my 13 mini. Can't tell battery life yet.

The bug with Safari Frequently Visited issue of removing a site from frequently visited and having it reappear is still present.

Nice to see an update after dropping from 16.0. Loooove the stability of 15 these days.
Yes, also dropped back down from 16.0. Although the 16.0 b1 is very stable, especially for a b1. But 15 is pretty rock solid now it is moving towards the end of it's life cycle.
I'll probably break down and go back to try 16.0 b2 when it is released, but in the meantime I am enjoying a good, solid data connection on 15........

I would wait for at least beta 3..... beta 2 is known to be VERY buggy.

13 ProMax

After using this for basically a day, the WiFi seems to be better (crossing fingers) but still shows issues.
I am still seeing the slow launch of apps that have to reach out and have a live link.

Biggest notice so far is that data speeds will drop to half for no reason I can see then after a couple / few minutes it bounces right back up. Seeing this on WiFi and 5G. Have not checked LTE yet.

Other than that all else is looking good so far.

Refresh my memory but did you have these issues on 15.5 also? If so are you saying 15.6 is better or worse than 15.5 for you? Or are you saying b3 vs b2?

Not sure what Apple did with wireless CarPlay, but it’s been nearly instantaneous in connecting to my car. Before 15.6 beta 2 and 3, it would eventually connect or connect somewhat quickly. 2021 Accord Sport 2.0 and iPhone 13 PM.

After updating my iPhone 12 mini Face ID doesn’t work anymore!
Update: I find out it does that because of a projector screen installed behind me on the wall!

Had these issues on 15.5. WiFi.
For me 15.6 was worse. 5G and LTE became an issue.
Beta 3 is an improvement over b1 and b2 for 5G and LTE. It is an improvement over 15.5 for WiFi.

I’m actually seeing better 5G performance with the updated modem. Used to hit 300mbps+ which is now over 500mbps from the exact same location at a similar hour as my previous tests.

Either the updated modem version is to credit or Verizon improved their C band performance or both.

Was going through 15.6b3 on my 13 ProMax this weekend when I ran across a new bug.
Since upgrading to b3, all voicemails have the same error; “Unable to Transcribe This Message”.
E6F36CDD-3FD3-4087-9C2A-11D6064FF950.jpeg
I have no problem understanding them when I listen to them via speaker or headset.
Male or Female makes no difference. Neither does the message length. Since updating I am now 5 for 5 fails.

Have filed Feedback report.
