no, neither that. there are no known bugs being addressed in this update. its just a security refresh but apart from that nothing else about the system was changed, that's what I was getting at. but yeah bug updates is funny too, sounds almost like iOS today... well, I guess iOS 18 is fine

it put my iphone 7 into recovery mode and wiped my data. i got error message (7) & (75) when i tried to do the update on my MBP through itunes, it gets about halfway through before the error message comes up. tried a few different cables but no dice.
took it to the apple store but they did the exact same thing i‘d already done, plugged it into a mac with a couple of different cables and googled a fix. Eff‘n useless.
