iOS 15 translation broken

Since updating to iOS 15 translation on my iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPad Pro the translation app and system-wide translation fails 95% of the time. Is this a known issue?

Secondly, when using the system wide translation it always defaults to US English and not UK English. Any idea why? All my iOS settings are UK English.

Is this broken for everyone on ios15? Used to work fine on ios14 and I use it quite regular.

Same issue here on 15.1. Any updates on how to fix this?
