Expanded 120Hz ProMotion Support

On devices that support ProMotion, Apple says that SwiftUI animated layout changes will support a 120Hz refresh rate, functionality that was previously missing- would this be our necessary update?
It is perhaps related.

I’m ~24 hours now without a stutter.

People are reporting MUCH better battery life in 16.2.

I personally think it’s all related somehow. Some real mismanagement of memory and processes somewhere.

Thank you for your valuable informations. Im getting optimistc.

PB 16.2 just dropped. Let me know if you guys have the same luck.

Alright, well, for a couple of minutes after I woke up, I had a handful of them. Nothing since.

I'm really hoping it was some kind of weird indexing thing that was happening and it's done with.

I am making sure not to restart or anything.

Wow. No stutters at all until this morning when I just started getting a ton of them.

3+ days later. Unbelievable.
Probably it want fixed then. It usually happens in the morning, especially the iPhone is being charged. I downloaded iOS16.2 last night. I’ll keep you informed.

Have you noticed the stutter in iOS 16.2? It drives me insane lol
It drives me completely insane. Every year I buy a new Iphone and this year, for the first time, I profoundly regret it. I paid more than U$ 4000,00 for 3 detective devices (I dont care if ias software) and even exchange my perfectly functioning 13PM.

No stutter on 16.2 beta 1 after several days. they were persistent for me throughout the 16.1 beta cycle and the official 16.1 release. The stutters always came back within 8 hours of a reboot on 16.1 and earlier.

16.2 took 3 days for mine to return.

Agreed every build before that only took hours.

Sadly, it’s just a matter of time.

I think you're the only one I've seen that has reported experiencing the stutter on the 16.2 beta 1 release.

There’s quite a few on Reddit, too.

I wish I could tell you they were gone. But it’s still here. They are a little less frequent.
