iOS 17.1 iMessage activation unsuccessful

Started yesterday, my iMessage stopped working. I have tried to restart/reset network settings, and it didn't work. And now iMessage on my Mac has stopped working as well. Under Send & Receive, it says no addresses.

Does anyone have similar problems recently?

No issues with iMessage on any of my devices using it. All addresses and phone numbers are listed

Just found out that my numbers and emails were blocked by Apple for reasons of spamming. That's just weird that I personally never done such things. I've googled and a lot of people are having similar issues. They have lifted the ban for now but I have to wait and see what's gonna happen.

I am still having the same issue but my phone numbers or emails don't appear on the blocked list.

Call Apple Support and tell them that iMessage is not working and they will look into your account status and they will let you know why.

Have done that as waiting now about 2 weeks for engineering to look at it

I suggest to give them a call and ask for senior advisor about the issues. It shouldn't be taking this long as I received the phone call the following day and they also called me after that to confirm if the issue had been resolved. Keep pushing them until they give you a result.

Thanks! I have a senior advisor who has been assigned to my case and is in communication with engineering. Agreed that this shouldn’t be taking this long!
