Since updating to iOS 17.7 on my iPhone 14PM, there are issues with Siri!

- Siri is no longer is doing back-to-back requests when activated.
- Ask for things like Elevation, or Restart Phone and it doesn't work.
- Ask for directions to a contact's name and says no contact exists.

Does turning Siri OFF, then back ON, make Siri lose it's learning history?

I don't think it will. Looking at this video you need to perform more steps to delete history.
I interpret that as just turning it off won't delete it.

I don't use Siri that extensively, but haven't come across any issues. I usually tell her to "set alarm for 07:00" and shout at her in the morning to "turn alarm off" when its going off far away from the bed. Ans that still works.

Edit: I tried and ask her "restart iphone" and if it was unlocked she said "you need to unlock it" when unlocked she asked for confirmation to restart and then did it. Iphone 13 pro iOS 17.7.
Have enabled so that Siri only listens with the screen face up.

Thanks for the video. I'd hate to actually "completely reset" Siri and then the problem still persist! It's bizarre how the Siri issues effect some users and not others. It was working perfectly well on 17.5.1 but not now on 17.7

Yes, very strange.
Could it be some random setting?

If you go into settings, contacts, are all things enabled under "siri & search", same for maps?

I've checked all those settings. All are on!
I ask Siri, "Where am I?" - and she responds with my location.
I ask Siri, "What's my location"? - and a cog wheel spins and then "I don't know where you are".

iOS 17.7 has messed up my phone with Siri. Even icons pulsate in Automations!!

I don't see how? I never had the problem before in 17.5.1.
I've even deleted some automations now, but back-to-back Siri requests still don't work. :(
Very strange. I haven't messed around with automation but are curious what you mean by "back to back" requesrts?
Is that when you have a sequence of Siri instructions like a conversation style flow?

Did you get restart to work?

Back-to-back requests with Siri are when you can ask another question straight after she answers, without having to say "Siri or Hey Siri" each time. So yes it was continuous.

Siri used to restart the phone for me when I'd say "Siri restart the phone". She would confirm whether I want to or not. (that feature is not working with Siri at the moment in 17.7).

I have to manually restart the phone with the side buttons sequence. I've tried resetting Siri again but still misbehaving! :(

Very strange, it works for me with 17.7 and 13 pro, I need to unlock the phone before being able to restart tho and that makes sense.

I can only imagine its related to some setting if it isn't device specific. But it would be strange if that was.

So what happens when you ask siri to restart the phone? No reaction whatsoever?
