Before iOS 17 was announced, Apple announced accessibility features that were coming soon for iPhone users; one of them was personal voice; a feature that would create a digital copy of your voice so if you ever lost the ability to speak your iPhone could talk for you in (a close approximation of) your voice.
I setup this feature by reading about 30 minutes worth of sentences, my phone processed those recordings and made a voice for me that while sounding close, was still very much robotic when saying a few sentences.
Weird thing is now when I went in to look at the voice settings (settings/accessibility/personal voice) it said I needed to record more dialogue even though it already had compiled my audio into a voice.
I’m wondering if since it’s beta it is buggy, or does it want to keep an updated version so it has me record more stuff.
Anyone else try personal voice?
