Right after iPadOS 17 update, I was greeted with a flurry of popups advertising “conversations awareness”, “personalised volume”, “loud sound reduction” etc etc.
Sounds good right? Naive I am, enabled them all.
Then, my YouTube video volume randomly goes up and down for no reason. Game sound fluctuates, affecting experience. Yet, when someone tries to talk to me, AirPods Pro doesn't lower the volume to make people’s voice more pronounced, but lowers it when random stranger talks besides me. It’s a total mess.
I have disabled them all. It is pointless to even develop these features using up more processing power for subpar results. I don’t know what else to say.
