iPhone 15 users have this wonderful new feature on their phones to limit the battery charge to 80%.

It would be so sweet if there were a way to make a shortcut to toggle on / off this feature (and then be able to assign it to the action button on 15 pro or pro max, if one so desired).

Currently, we must go through several layers of menu in settings to toggle this feature on or off. Does anyone know if there’s a way to make a shortcut to toggle this feature on/off in the shortcuts app?

Currently can't check directly, but don't forget about the search in the Settings, just to avoid those menu layers

From what I recall the closest thing you can do is buy a HomeKit supported smart outlet and plug your phone into it and make a shortcut to shut off the plug when your charge level reaches a certain percent. A lot more effort and money than the toggle on iPhone 15.

Yeah, it would be awesome if you can kind of schedule it or have a shortcut be able to control it. For instance, if I’m out of town I would like for my phone to charge to an 100% or a let’s say it’s the weekend. I would prefer for it to charge to 100%..

No shortcut action to actually do it. The closest you can get is to open to the battery health & charging page.
