iOS 18.1.1 just broke my text messaging

Just updated today and some text messages are delivered and some are not. Sent 4 to a family member, they only got the last one (iPhone to iPhone) Same thing is happening with RSC. Doesn't even say the message was delivered.


Is it possible to roll back?

I noticed today when I send a message to a group, I cannot send any more messages, I have to set up the group all over again. 18.1.1 did not fix us!

How soon after the update did you try the group text?


I'm speculating that text messages have to sync with iCloud after the update before things start to work properly. My issues resolved not long after the update. Took maybe 3-4hrs before it went back to normal for me. Others might not be so lucky

Not seeing any issues myself, though I avoid mixed-group messages (it's either all iMessage or I don't participate). Individual SMS are working fine.

Mixed messages on a new iPad are giving me problems. No "Compose message" bubble at the bottom. No "Like" bubbles. I'm waiting to install 18.2 and see if anything helps.
