Hello,

My wife and I just updated to Iphone 16 Pro and Pro Max, with ios 18.2.1. She shared her calendar with me, but I only get a very few shared events. I accepted the link and all settings seem to be correct. I have powered down the phones and back on, signed out of iCloud on both, and as you can see my images, we are both looged into the same account for the calendar in iCloud. I am just lost on what else to try.

Thank you

Hey,

I’m confused as to why you’re both logged to the same account? That is not necessary.

Try, for testing purposes, creating a new Calendar. Make sure iCloud(not Google or something else) is used as the account for Calendar in both the phones in Settings>Apps>Calendar>Calendar Accounts and that iCloud Calendar is turned on in Settings>Your Name>iCloud. Then share this new test calendar to see if it syncs across.

Hello Appleminded,
Thank you for the reply. I will try your suggestion today. If I can ask, when you say, "why are we both logged into the same account". Do you mean, my wife should not be logged into "Home sharred by Cheryl", and only "On My Phone, Home".

Thank you

Hey,

My understanding was that you were logged into the same iCloud account on both your devices, which I said wasn’t necessary.
The first thing you should try is creating a new iCloud Calendar, sharing it, and filling it with lots of dummy entries to see if they sync. If they do, just use that new one! : )

Please keep me updated. I’d love to hear your problem resolved!
