So I’ve just updated my iPhone and started playing with type to Siri. I wanted to ask it wheat does it think about the integration with ChatGPT when all the sudden a message appears saying “working with ChatGPT”. It didn’t even ask me to confirm. I asked her why she didn’t and the message appeared again until ChatGPT answered me. Needless to say, I deactivated this thing which is obviously very buggy.

Is “Confirm ChatGPT Requests” toggled on in Settings - Apple Intelligence - ChatGPT?

That is expected behavior for that request/question. Since you used the word "ChatGPT" in your request, it automatically goes through ChatGPT. And if ChatGPT has already been invoked in the session, future requests may go through ChatGPT as well.

The only time you will get asked for consent is when you need to send ChatGPT content (document, photo, text, etc.) for it to work with. It will not ask for consent when you ask it random questions or tell it to do something that isn't based off your work/data.

Yes, it is. That’s actually what I was testing but other member said that’s expected behavior apparently. I never saw anything about bypassing the promt

So after reading this I went to read the terms and conditions, it says they won't ask for permission when you explicitly ask for chatgpt to do it, that's not what I did at all. They should have included the option to always ask for permission, especially since Siri can't even understand what you are saying, even when it is typed.
