I have an iPhone 16 pro with the always on display turned on. It works as expected, when the lockscreen dims, I can still see my lockscreen wallpaper.

If I change the style of the photo to something like Seamless Background, when the screen dims, my wallpaper disappears.

I have attached a video to demonstrate this. Is this normal behaviour?

Thank you

In the first video I haven’t changed the photos style, but in the second video I have changed the style to “seamless background”

Yeah. That’s how it’s supposed to work. It’s a solid background and then when you wake the picture emerges…
