Y’all I am contemplating going back to iOS 18 developer beta 1 on my iPhone XR to put on the Cowabunga Apple Intelligence Siri theme again, which got patched in developer beta 2. My iPhone is on developer beta 4 (rereleased build) and my Apple Watch Series 6 respectively is on watchOS developer beta 4.
I heard Apple Watch wearers saw their watches unpair from their iPhones and are unable to pair them again if they roll back a WHOLE IOS VERSION back to 17.5, like this iPhone 14 Pro user from CNET said. But the version I would downgrade in question is within the same iOS version, 18 to an earlier build of 18, and I’d want to still do it without losing any data with an existing iTunes backup.
Should I hold on until the new Siri UI officially launches on an iOS 18 beta build or proceed with the downgrade?
