This is my first time signing up for the iOS beta, so now that iOS 18 is out, do I have to upgrade? Should I turn off the beta option in the system software update settings? Same question for Mac OS actually.

If you were on the betas last week and installed the Release Candidate versions, you have the versions that everyone else got today.

It's up to you whether you turn off the beta option. If you don't turn it off then I expect that, in a week or two's time, you'll have the option to download the next beta version: either the x.1 version or, if something urgent crops up in the meantime, maybe a x.0.1 bug fix release.

I bet most people just join the beta over the summer to get an early chance to play with the new features. If that's you, you can turn the betas off and get future updates with everyone else.
