There’s a bug in iOS 18 and my iPhone 13 pro max that when I leave my phone to charge overnight with Optimized Battery Charging on, it only charges to 80% by morning. The problem is that it stays like this indefinitely, and I can’t get it to charge past 80% at my location.
Back in iOS 17, my phone would reach 100% by 7-8 AM, and if I needed it earlier, I’d get a notification on my lock screen saying Optimized Battery Charging is on and when it would finish charging. Now, with iOS 18, I don’t even get that notification.
Apple, instead of dealing with this bug, wouldn’t it be great if you gave those of us with older iPhones the option to set a custom charge percentage, like you did with iPhone 15 and newer models?
