iOS 18 Giant Icons on Safari Suggestions

This can’t be right…can it? The icons in Safari Suggestions are now super-sized. Obviously this picture is scaled way up…but you can tell how much bigger they are than the standard icon size. Were the betas like this? It looks terrible.

I agree they don't look great. Do you really use them though? You can switch them off by tapping the Edit button on a new tab page. I just have my favourites on there which look OK.

I actually got used to them being there…just not 4 times the size that they were. Baffling design choice.

How can I’m return my suggested websites to their normal size? They are not on my homepage but rather whenever I open a new website page.

Same issue. I'm using them quite often and now this section kinda occupies 50% of the screen. Designers...

Someone thought it was a good idea to turn downscaled and cropped screen captures of rendered websites into huge icons.

I also have a privacy issue with this, if you share your iPad with others.....

Bad decision, they should have stuck to the old way.

on macOS they are so big I have to scroll down now to see them all, its a step back
