I’ve got a question regarding the new homescreen customization with a custom wallapaper. I’m not sure if this is a bug or not. When I set it to dark, the icons get dark and the custom wallpaper dims. When set to light, the wallpaper and the icons become light again. BUT if set to automatic, just the icons are switching between dark and light mode, not the wallpaper . It remains light instead of dimmed. I would like to get the custom wallpaper dimmed automatically when switching between dark mode and light mode.

Tap the "Sun" icon at the top left, will darken or lighten wallpaper.
You don't understand, he said he wants it to be "automatically". I don't want to be manually changing the wallpaper every time the dark mode is activated on my iPhone. I really don't understand how Apple didn't think about this when creating this customization option.

Exactly!

I read that, but thanks for trying. Report it to Apple. I'm sure you know how to do that.
I gave you exactly the only option at this point. I know, takes a lot of effort to tap that sun for now.

That's not the point at all. Of course I know the option. However, I have the phone set to switch automatically to dark mode at sunset and vice versa. And currently it only switches the icons. And I don't feel like switching the background manually each time over several steps.
