iOS 18 increased screen brightness

I swear after updating to iOS 18 on my 14 pro max yesterday my screen brightness has increased a lot. Is this true for others or am I imagining this?

I don’t use auto brightness fwiw I do it manually.

I thought this about my 15PM as well. In my office at work I usually have it at just under half brightness but since updating it is now a bit lower on the slider.
