iOS 18 search bug?

When trying to search for “Speedtest” as soon as you type the letter “s” the screen flashes quickly and it doesn’t let you type it. If you keep typing it will only register “peedtest”. Anyone else having this issue?

No that’s not it. It’s definitely registering the keystroke. I’ve watch it and it the words “Safari - Open” appear briefly in the search box before disappearing completely.

Same for me. You can’t search for something which starts with an s. I have had this problem since beta 4; beta 5 didn’t fix it.
