Beeping noises; these are VERY quiet like you can barely hear them in a quiet room. I just noticed it after I put it on the charger and it's also done it just sitting on the desk. At first I thought it was something in the next room it's so quiet.

Noise cancellation; I hesitate to bring this up because it's so controversial but it does genuinely feel like they backed off of this again. At first I thought transparency was on but toggling back and forth it's definitely in noise cancel mode and I'm now hearing more things around me than I used to.

This is all new to me. These are older lightning Airpods Pro 2 that I've had for quite some time now, got them when they first came out. I joined the iOS 18 beta late and I'm now on the "final" version. Showing version 7A294.

Searching around it seems like the chirping might be the find my "device traveling with you" chirps. But these are so quiet I can't imagine anyone would hear it. Also right now find my thinks they aren't in the case, while they are actually in the case and on a wireless charger.

Edit; found this; https://discussions.apple.com/thread/254716306?sortBy=rank
I did that unpair/repair and now they show version 7A302
Pretty much immediately after that I put it on the charger again and heard the super quiet chirps. Find my still says the airpods are out of the case.

I guess there's a lot of bugs to work out in iOS 18 and associated peripherals still.

Edit2; play charging case sound in find my is quite loud, so it's not like the speakers broken.
