As the title says!

Seems like it has finally finished indexing. Phone has been a laggy hot mess up until today. Using my phone this morning and it doesn't get warm, battery life seems to have stabilised and the lag has settled down. Its by no means perfect, however it is usable now. Really looking forward to seeing liquid glass getting more refined as the betas go on.

I agree...I downloaded iOS26 on Monday and by later that night it had already smoothed out big time. It's completely usable on my daily driver 16 Pro Max. There are little hiccups here and there but nothing major so far!

Mine has got worse today. Still runs really hot doing basically nothing. Safari is an absolute mess crashing and glitching out every 2 seconds. Was running fine at first but now constantly crashing.

Can't be bothered going back to iOS 18. I'll just wait for the next beta. I knew what I was signing up for so whatever.

unfortunately with these beta versions it's a bit of luck.
Some have devices that are kettles and some don't, some detect device reboots, app crashes etc..

Why are you installing it on your devices that is your main device?
Why so judgmental? No one on this thread said their phone is fiery piece of scrap and they can't get an Uber. They are living their lives. Are they not allowed to complain because they aren't "developers"?

To answer your question: Some people have only the one device. Some people have so many devices that they don't care, as swapping an eSIM is just a couple minute process. And some people don't mind spending a day wiping their phone and setting up everything from scratch. (I do this on my gaming PC once or twice a year and find it fun.)

I'm running the beta on my only iPhone, but if it gets bad enough I have a Pixel 9 XL just beside it on my desk.

What have you tried as far as troubleshooting goes? What you’re experiencing is an outlier based on what I’ve read in the beta 1 thread.
