Anyone else on iOS 26 seeing System Data balloon by several GB a day? Mine went from 29 GB last night to 34 GB this morning, and it’s hit 40+ GB before. I’ve tried rebooting, clearing Safari, deleting update files, reinstalling apps, even restoring from backup — it always comes back. Is this just me or a wider iOS 26 bug?

Same here man.. iOS 26 on iPhone 15 pro
it’s getting bigger by several gigabytes of data everyday, it’s becoming hard to even use iOS anymore because every app ends up crashing. I thought it might be the Apple Intelligence model because when I stopped the download of it, I got back like 10 gigs of storage but after a few days it came back

I had this issue on the betas. In the end I just did a fresh install as it was so bad I was having to do a restore from backup twice a week…. I did have a feedback ticket but couldn’t help as I had done the fresh install.

If you raise an apple ticket reference that FB18591030

I called the issue “System Data Bloat”

I think anyone can get to the feedback app by opening this link in safari: applefeedback://

Can you try uninstalling and reinstalling Apple Intelligence? That can take up to 16GB of data.

Turn it off, wait up to a few hours for it to delete the generative models and re-enable it
