Hi, I've been reading news about a new feature in iTunes allowing you to sync related files for specific apps through iTunes. Can anyone who has the GM release tell me how exactly his works? Does this mean that I can drag a word document directly into iTunes and it will work in Documents to Go on my iPhone? I really like the ability to put files onto my android sd card, and this new iOS feature seems quite close to a similar implementation for the iphone.

You need an... "adapted" applications (e.g. AirSharing at the moment), and then it will be available in the "Applications" tab.

has anyone seen any details about how this works in practice?

If you add a local (mac) file to iTunes for an app and you update that file on the device, does it sync back?

What if you update it on the mac, will it write over a new copy to the device next sync?

How are conflicts handled?

(I have tried it briefly but not enough to be confident about how it is supposed to work...)
