Not really sure what to say.

The icons are poor quality, the images you've used for the raindrops aren't sharp enough either. Looks like you designed the logo and then resized it too.

Sorry, nice idea i guess, and its good practice trying to replicate existing logos.

"Logos"? What logos? :confused:

The icons were taken from Google images, so yeah, they're not my creation, and far from high res. Also, the background image was not supposed to be the raindrops - totally irrelevant - it was the open folder & background "linen" which is the point of this.

I wonder if your critique would differ, if you were told that Apple had produced this? :D

Agreed, I think it looks quite fine, and whatever the background is doesn't really matter assuming it can be changed in PS.

The one thing that I noticed is that the real version has no inner glow on the vertical sides (left and right) however yours does.

If you mean "inner shadow", then if you look here:

you can see that there is inner shadow, left & right.
