iOS 5.0.1 Jailbreak

For iPhone 4s users would it be safe to update to 5.0.1 when it is released if we want to jailbreak?

I would imagine so. I doubt the iPhone dev team is going to continue work on a jailbreak when they know for sure a new update of iOS is coming around the corner.
