iOS 5.1 iPad 2 does personal hotspot work?

Cook announced today that the new iPad supports personal hotspot via 3G cellular if the carrier supports it.

Has anyone already upgraded their iPad 2 to iOS version 5.1 and tested the personal hotspot?

Because this feature was missing so far, I had to jailbreak my iPad 2. ( single most important reason for me to jailbreak the iPad 2)

Same as the iPhone I guess. Switch the hotspot on in settings. That's all you need to do.

I really do wonder how long the battery life for the hot spot will be when the screen is off!
