When will we plan to see version 5.1 available? What are the main feature that will be included in it? And will this impove the battery life on the iPhone 4S? Let me know. Thanks.

We do not know when it will be out nor the features it could possibly bring but one thing is for certain it will have a lot of bug fixes and regarding the battery life yes they would optimize it so yeah....

When? Don't really know at the moment. No news at the moment about Apple releasing iOS 5.1.

If anything, Apple may release 5.0.1 first in order to address bugs in 5.0.

Bottom line, no word on anything yet.

Well I can finally say that Siri has worked 100% of the time the last 3 days, she now knows my name, most of my fam if I say bro, sis, ma, pops, the more you use siri the better it gets. I'm ready for a jailbreak. Not that there is much I need, just nice to know its there if I need it. Plus, since all iPhones are world phones I wud love to see some type of software unlock to allow any 4S on any carrier. That would be sweet. Lovin iOS 5, there are still a few bugs tho. No word of 5.1, I'd say that's a ways off, prolly start with 5.0.1

iOS 1.1.1, 2.1, 3.1 and 4.1 were all released 3 months after their major x.0 update

So my guess is somewhere between January/February.

do you think that apple have been sneaky and released an OS with a number of critical bugs to try and draw out the jailbreakers?

they release a JB, then apple release 5.0.1 that closes the JB hole and gives you bug fixes that you simply must have?

That's interesting....in to any 911 conspiracies too? lol

just an old cynic.

If apple spent as much time getting things right as they did trying to stop people making their phone better they wouldn't need to release so many updates.

surely putting a theme on a phone, or something as truly useful as BiteSMS is something that apple should embrace...it is just beyond me. You only have to look through the massive (huge) thread on the mods people have done to see what can be accomplished...and apple say 'no, we can't have you doing that'...just ridiculous
