Hi all,

So, updated ATV2 to iOS5. One thing thats been fixed is a subtitle issue i've had, where the bottom line of subs was cut off. Its now been shunted up, and displays fine. Good news for us who cannot disable overscan on our LCD's!

But...

Movies that have both aac 2.0 & 5.1 AC3 audio are not playing the 5.1 by default. The video plays, with no sound. I switch to aac 2.0, and then I get sound, I switch back, and then the 5.1 comes through!

Anyone else care to check if this is happening to them as well?

These are my own handbrake/mkvtools conversions.

Thanks!

Connect to receiver via optical cable. Always has been. Nothing in the setup has changed.

Had another thread but mine is the exact same. HDMI from aTV2 to Onkyo receiver, HDMI Onkyo to TV>

Worked perfect until this last update. Plays with no sound, hold OK and select the other audio channel (AAC) sound comes on, hold OK and select DD track and DD now plays.
