Some of the newer bluetooth stereo headsets out there (Jaybird SB2 is an example) support Apt-X, which is a newer, much higher quality codec for listening to stereo music over Bluetooth.

Does anyone know if iOS 5 added native hardware support for this? I'm thinking of getting such a headset and it would be nice to know. I find no mention of apt-X in any of the iOS change logs, but this is the sort of thing Apple might silently add. :)
