How's the performance of iOS 5 on the 3G? Thinking of updating my mother's phone, but only if it's worth it. She's on 4.3 right now.

iOS 5 is only compatible with the 3GS, 4, and 4S.

That crippled mine. Had to go back to 3.1.3 to make it run.

MY old 3G ran fine on 4.2.1, 3.1.3 gave me app troubles
