I'll admit I was very nervous before I decided to upgrade my iP4 to iOS 5 because of my personal experience with what iOS 4 did to my old 3G. But I have to say iOS 5 runs great on my iP4. Been using it for 2 weeks now. Everything seems to be snappier and some of the lags that I saw with iOS 4.x seems to have disappeared. The phone runs very smooth over all. I couldn't be happier. So anybody that is still on the fence and who have not updated to iOS 5 should definitely update. It is a great update from Apple!

I am completely content with iOS 5 on my iPhone 4. So pleased that I'm saving my upgrade for the iPhone 6 :)

But some people having problem in updating process.. Lost some app, not proper restore and some more.. But ios5 rock..

True, and some people have problems with anything and everything. I have yet to see something launch into the market and not see someone without a problem.
I also realize that for every 1 person that has problem, more than 50 do not.
And its that 1 person that squeaks the loudest.
No one complains that everything is working good. :D

As for me, been using it since the GM. Works great.

No issues here. I'm very pleased with performance. I can't say the same for iOS 5 on the iPad though, especially that terrible new music app.

The only issue that I seem to have is that my home button seems less responsive. I've read articles that this may be related to either the software or the hardware. Just seems to coincidental that it became less reponsive at the time I upgrade. Even with that said, I'm still happier on iOS 5 than 4.x

I've had a few small problems, including a reboot of the phone and loss of internet connectivity until restarting (each only happened once), but overall iOS 5 on the iPhone 4 seems pretty good. My upgrade went very smoothly, no complaints there.

only major issue I have had so far was installing iOS 5 on my iP4. It took very long and not all the songs were loaded properly/restored.

it showed the space as being there but the songs would not play.

however, iOS 5 seems really good once you "get" how things are supposed to work now.

Same here - the upgrade process was a little rocky, but I managed to get past the problems. It seems to be running at least as fast as ios 4 was. Just wish I could afford a 4S!

I am a former me.com customer and the migration to iCloud was seamless. The only problem was I ended up with my me.com account being the apple id for the store that was different from the apple id I used on my home PC which became problematic when syncing either with iCloud or with iTunes on my PC.

I learned from someone here that a simple log out and log in from the store app under settings fixed that problem (it didn't seem obvious to me that from there you could log in and out). I just wish the Apple support dude knew it was a store issue and not an iCloud issue.

Other than that I am very happy! :)

Very happy with iOS5 on both my iPad 2 and iPhone 4 (though I will shortly be upgrading to a 4S to get Siri and location-based reminders).

Location-based reminders work fine on my 4 and I too am running fine under iOS5 on my old 4. Like others have said, it seems to run faster now.
