Hey
I have been using IOS 5, running preserved baseband 4.10.01 on tethered boot until cydia tried to upgrade and added something that caused my phone to die/need to be restored. Now everytime i attempt to restore my phone it comes up with the message The iphone "iphone" could not be restored. The deviced is not elgilible for build, or something along those lines. I've tried everything, changing the hosts etc. Help is needed PLEASE!!

You cannot restore to iOS 5.0.0, even with saved SHSH blobs. Apple changed the way the blobs are signed so that they can only be used one time. You can only restore to iOS 5.0.1 or any 4.3.5 or lower version that you have the blobs for.

Redsn0w wont let me build a custom ipsw as the latest 5.0.1 isnt supported with the latest version. Any suggestions, i.e to downgrade my phone to 4.3.5 and preserve my baseband?
