I still own one and it’s been through one battery change. The replacement battery didn’t work as well and it discharges within 15-30 mins. The 16 GB memory is an issue as despite a clean boot, I have less than a gig to use.
I have an option to get a gray market battery and 128 GB memory upgrade for $100.
I don’t plan to use this as my main device but it may come handy during travel as the phone is unlocked and otherwise in great condition. The camera also works fine.
Shall I get it fixed? Any experience or feedback is appreciated.

Thanks. That’s helpful.
Don't take my reply as a negative comment about the 6S. I still have a 64gb version I keep because it was a fabulous device that served me well. 16gb's versions just aren't useable with iOS15 as the OS takes 6-8gb's alone so with apps it really leaves you with little to no headroom when storage is concerned. That's why I'd look for something like a nice used iPhone 8 with 128-256gb's if you want a decent backup device that won't break the bank.

No, I did not take it as negative. This helped me think through the choices as I wasn’t sure about the worth of the repair price. Thanks again and I appreciate the clarification 😊
