I have an iphone 4 on ios 7.0.4 that needs to be necessarily restored as it is at an almost unusable state. my dilemma here is whether to restore to ios 7.1.1 and jailbreak semi-untethered with geeksn0w or stay in ios 7.0.4 untethered. If your recommendation is staying at ios 7.0.4 i would also like to know the step by step tutorial to restore at that ios while not currently being signed (link or video no need to write it all here). lastly i just wanted to say that I don't depend much on tweaks i only jailbreak because of appsync.
