Hi guys!
Ive been using an iPhone 5 now. I had jailbreak previously, before updating to iOS 7.

I´m wondering if the jailbreak (which is being worked on) will work for iPhone 5S. If so, I´m thinking of buying it!

Thanks!

i have no idea what you're talking about, i already jailbroke my iphone 8

Is ios 8.0.1 out yet?
You can use the russian jailbreak and let us know how that is.

Yes it will cover yhe 5S

No one knows yet if it will cover the 5S. If anything, it could be longer for it to come out on the 5S due to the new processor. That's about all that's been put out there if you've really been following the jailbreak team that's been working on this one. You also know that the jailbreak is finished and they are waiting until the perfect time to release it. No reason in wasting exploits.

It hasn't been announced yet, so we don't know. If it's like the last time, it could be awhile for a 5S jailbreak due to the new processor. We will see.

Yes, the new processor may make things harder/easier but none of these jailbreaks for the last 2 years are hardware based. They're all software based exploits and since they all run pretty much the same OS, it can be said that the jailbreak will cover all devices

The A6 was a completely new and designed processor and it was supported with all the previous devices. The A7 is based off of the A6

The A7 is also 64-bit, which most people have said that it would make it harder to Jailbreak for the 5S.

iOS 7 jailbreak for iPhone 5S?

Most people are not the devs apparently:

My opinion is that it will make little or no difference in terms of security, vulnerabilities and exploitation. All the difficult parts about jailbreaking will remain as difficult but not more so than before. In terms of actually packaging a jailbreak for mass consumption, it'll be a PITA to support an entirely different instruction set, but that's just a question of engineering.
Granted, we haven't seen the actual hardware and code yet, so who knows.

That's funny, I've seen from the devs the opposite. Yes, from the devs. I follow them on Twitter.

He is simply quoting a post by a member of the dev team that posted it on reddit. So I assume it is genuine.

To jailbreak iOS 7 iPhone or iPad.First of all,you need to turn the passcode lock off on your iOS device. To do this, click the Settings icon gray, into the routine, then the password lock. Make sure it's turned off. This also includes close touch ID in the iPhone 5s (do not worry, you can turn off after the jailbreak).
Read the use guide about how to jailbreak iOS 7 iPhone on computer.
Of course, the jailbreak and technically not covered under warranty, so if any part of this process, your iPhone into a $ 650 paperweight (highly unlikely), it is entirely your responsibility.
