Hi guys,

Been out for a while, not that updated anymore.

Anyway, I have an old phone - iPhone 5 running on iOS 7.1.2 and is jailbroken.

I'm experiencing some issues for over a year now. The phone reboots upon receiving a phone call, it happens at least 3 out of 10 times and it sucks at times specially if the phone call is urgent and important.

So the query is can I upgrade it to iOS 9 and jailbreak it afterwards?

Or is it possible to re-do the iOS 7 jailbreak? Just don't know how. :D

Thanks!

Currently iOS 10 isn't jail breakable. And there's no way to upgrade to the last jb version- 9.3.3 cause that signing windows long closed. Either you stay jb on iOS 7 or you restore and upgrade to iOS 10 and wait for the next jb.

You will have to jump to the latest iOS 10 firmware if you want to upgrade it. I think there might be a restore tool for your iOS in Cydia

9.1 for his particular device, since it's 32 bit
